Increasing your contact forms conversion rates
Request a demo, book a consultation, get in touch, contact us… Prospects who fill out these forms on your website have high intent to leverage your services. Don’t leave them waiting!
Adding a calendar widget to your contact forms significantly increases your prospect experience and streamlines the meeting scheduling process. By allowing prospects to select a convenient date and time for their appointment directly from the form, you eliminate the need for back-and-forth emails, thus speeding up the conversion process.
Additionally, showing the right calendar dynamically - whether for the right sales rep, or the right team with appropriate availability in the prospect timezone - further enhances the chances that a meeting will actually happen after they contact you.
Step 1: Create a contact form
Create a simple contact form to collect prospect demographic information. Keep it short!
Some best practices:
- only include the fields that are absolutely necessary for your initial contact - such as email, company. Asking email in this first step is important: if the prospect fails to book a meeting in the second step, you’ll still have a way to follow up with them
- and the fields that you need to display the appropriate calendar - such as country/state, or number of employees.
- include conditional logic: if you need US state information, only show the US state picklist if the United States country is previsouly selected
- use inline validation: mostly for the email field, add a validation to make sure the email format is correct. That will avoid user errors preventing you from following up quickly!
- use a single column layout as it’s typically more straightforward and reduces the chances of users missing fields

Step 2: add rules
You may want to display a calendar based on specific conditions.
For example:
- display a sales rep calendar based on the prospect’s territory or segment >> this helps ensure the right rep will meet with your prospect
- display a calendar only if the prospect fits your ideal customer profile (ex.: has at least xx employees) >> this helps ensure that prospects that are not a fit don’t have priority access to your calendar and you can further qualify them over email
Note: if you don’t need any rules to conditionally display a calendar - you can skip this step
